Celebrity chef Bobby Calabrese rose to prominence co-hosting the popular Fixate cooking show with his sister, celebrity fitness trainer Autumn Calabrese. Calabrese has worked as a chef at several Michelin Starred restaurants in New York including the James Bear Award winning ISA, and Meadowsweet and Pok Po. After collaborating with his sister on her hugely successful first cookbook Fixate, he was invited to co-host a new cooking show alongside her on the online streaming service Beachbody On Demand, and he has quickly become a fan favourite with viewers. Calabrese also shares his recipes on social media and has racked up hundreds of thousands of followers across online platforms Facebook and Instagram.
As a child Calabrese grew up living above his father’s restaurant and began experimenting in kitchens from a young age. Although he had an obvious talent for cooking, Calabrese was encouraged by his family to earn a degree and went to college to study Create Writing. However, after finishing his course he travelled around Europe and discovered his true passion was still food and spent time in Florence, Italy learning his trade before returning to New York where he landed jobs at some of the city’s finest Michelin Starred restaurants.
Calabrese has described working with his sister on the Fixate show projects as a dream-come-true, with both siblings passionate about the work they’re producing .
