Brad Bird is a celebrated American film director, screenwriter, animator, and producer. He was born on September 24, 1957, in Kalispell, Montana. His passion for animation began at an early age and he studied at the California Institute of the Arts, where he developed his skills under the guidance of legendary animators such as Milt Kahl and Eric Larson.
In 1980, Brad began his professional career at Disney as an animator on the feature film “The Fox and the Hound.” He continued to work on many successful Disney films, including “The Black Cauldron,” “The Little Mermaid,” and “Beauty and the Beast.” He later moved to Warner Bros Animation to work on the popular television series “The Simpsons.”
