The inspirational and motivational Joe Diebolder, who is better known online as Captain Joe, is a dashing professional pilot and educational content creator, who gained fame online with his YouTube channel where he explains the technical aspects of flying commercial airplanes. His channel now has more than 1.5 million subscribers, with over 168 million views. He has also written a self-help book, READ and DO: 100 Checklists to Become a Better Version of Yourself, which was published in 2021.

Born and raised in Germany, Diebolder fell in love with flying at a young age after regularly travelling to and from England to spend time with his godfather who was an air traffic controller for London radar. He began his flying career in 2005 by getting a Private Pilot’s License in Austria, and then attended a private flying school to get his Commercial and Airline Transport Pilot’s License, finishing his flight training by the age of 23.
