United Kingdom CDawgVA, known as Connor Marc Colquhoun, is a Welsh voice actor, YouTuber, streamer, and podcaster based in Japan, recognized for his work promoting anime and Japanese culture.
CDawgVA works as a content creator for GeeXPlus, a Tokyo-based talent management and global media company. He also became a board member of GeeXPlus in October 2024, overseeing talent growth and development, and providing guidance on production strategies.

Connor Marc Colquhoun, known as CDawgVA, created his YouTube channel in February 2014. In November 2019, he moved to Tokyo, Japan, to work as a content creator for GeeXPlus, an agency backed by Kadokawa. His role at GeeXPlus involves using his platform to promote anime and Japanese culture globally. In February 2020, Colquhoun co-founded and co-hosted the weekly podcast “Trash Taste” with Joey “The Anime Man” Bizinger and Garnt “Gigguk” Maneetapho. This podcast covers topics such as anime, manga, otaku culture, and their experiences living in Japan, with episodes available across multiple platforms including YouTube, Spotify, and iTunes.
Throughout his career, CDawgVA has been involved in significant projects and events. He served as a presenter at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in both 2020 and 2021. In August 2020, he participated in a livestreamed chess tournament called “Tournament Arc,” hosted by Chess.com for anime YouTubers, reaching the finals. He continued his involvement in chess, competing in “Tournament Arc 2” in July 2021 and securing fourth place. In December 2022, Colquhoun participated in a “chess-slap” match with Ludwig Ahgren at the Mogul Chessboxing Championship in Los Angeles. March 2023 marked a career turning point when he signed an exclusive streaming agreement with Twitch. He further demonstrated his chess skills by winning PogChamps 5, a chess tournament series, between July and August 2023.
Beyond content creation and competitive events, Colquhoun has engaged in voice acting for anime, video games, and other projects, including roles in “Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles” (2021), “Tribe Nine” (2022), and “Honkai: Star Rail” (2023). He also holds a board member position at GeeXPlus, announced in October 2024, where he focuses on talent growth and production strategies. A notable aspect of his work is his dedication to charity, particularly his “cyclethon” events across Japan with fellow YouTuber Chris “Abroad in Japan” Broad. These events have raised substantial funds for the Immune Deficiency Foundation, with each successive cyclethon accumulating increasing amounts, culminating in over $1 million raised in 2024 and again in 2025. His philanthropic efforts have been recognized with awards, including Best Philanthropic Stream Event at the 2022 Streamer Awards.
