Best known for being one of the first-ever contestants on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Cheryl Hole is a famous English drag queen. She finished in fourth place in the first series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2019.
Born in Essex in 1993, Cheryl Hole stormed onto the U.K. drag scene in 2016. After working across the country in drag bars, clubs, and theatres, she appeared on BBC Breakfast and BBC Newsbeat in 2018. She also appeared in the Comedy Central show Your Face or Mine in April 2019. In August, Hole was announced as one of the ten queens featured in the first series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
Cheryl’s act is modeled after former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole, and Cole memorably appeared on RuPaul’s drag race to judge Hole’s lip-sync rendition of her track “Call My Name”. Hole reached the seventh episode of the competition, finishing in fourth place before being sent home. She was later included in a 12-stop tour across the UK hosted by Alyssa Edwards. In 2020, she appeared in an episode of Celebrity Juice on ITV2.
Cheryl Hole is the stage name of Luke Underwood, and Hole has become an internationally known star within the last few years.
