Well established American actor Chris Gorham has been entertaining audiences for the best part of three decades. Perhaps best known for playing Auggie Anderson in the hit US series “Covert Affairs,” Gorham’s meteoric rise soon took hold. A graduate of UCLA, Gorham earned a BA in Film & Theatre Arts. It is there that Gorham found his home in front of the camera, and where he nurtured a passion for writing and directing. Since Gorham’s television debut in 1997, he has gone on to star in nearly sixty titles.
Landing the role of Bob Barnard in the Netflix comedy-drama “Insatiable,” Gorham has continued to capture a generation with his charismatic performance. With an incredible career under his belt, Gorham has portrayed a broad range of characters from Elliott in “Party of Five” to Henry Grubstick in “Ugly Betty.” His other television credits include “2 Broke Girls” as Bobby, “The Magicians” as Senator John Gaines and “Once Upon A Time” as the Wizard of Oz/Walsh.
While part of the “Covert Affairs” cast, Gorham was able to develop his prowess as a director on several episodes, including “Auggie Undercover.” Continually pushing himself to explore his craft further, Gorham has directed a range of comedy shorts for Funny or Die. Gorham’s directional debut feature film came with the comedy “We Love You, Sally Carmichael!.” With future projects on the horizon, like “One Night in Miami” and “Work Wife,” Gorham will be entertaining audiences for years to come.
