Best known for playing Wednesday Addams in the The Addams Family, Christina Ricci is an American actress who has won numerous high profile awards.
Ricci started out as a child actress with a performance in 1990 film Mermaids, going on to land her breakout role in The Addams Family the following year. Her stand out performance as Wednesday Addams catapulted her to fame, and over the following years she became known as an edgy and versatile actress with a talent for playing darker characters. Other acting credits include The Opposite of Sex, Sleepy Hollow, Monster and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and soon she started attracting critical acclaim with a nomination for a Golden Globe for Best Actress. Ricci has also made numerous appearances on television, most notably in Grey’s Anatomy for which she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. She has also starred in Ally McBeal, Pan Am and The Lizzie Borden Chronicles, which she also produced. This multi-talented performer has also voiced several animated characters, in films such as Small Soldiers, Smurfs 2 and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract.
Most recently, Ricci has continued to appear in both films and television series, and her career shows no signs of slowing down. In 2020 she starred in 10 Things We Should Do Before We Break Up, Percy and television series 50 States of Fright, with many exciting projects in post-production.
