Christine Allado is regarded as one of the most talented young actresses in Britain, while she is also an esteemed singer. Best known for her performance in the role of Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds in the multi Tony and Olivier award winning West End Production of Hamilton: An American Musical, Allado has carved out an Impressive niche in stage performance.
Aside from her headline role, Allado also performed as Vanessa in the multi Olivier award winning West End production of In The Heights. In both of her major stage roles, she was directed by Lin Manuel Miranda.
But it’s not only in stage where Allado has made a splash. She has an impressive résumé of television credits as well, having starred in the BBC’s 60th anniversary production of West Side Story as the lead role of Maria and Jasmine in Hallmark Channel’s TV film Royal Hearts, as Agent Beverly Walker for The Accidental Spy.
Allado attended the University of the Philippines and Playshop school theatre workshops, and performed in a variety of productions during her education, which included Hairspray, The Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Allado has enjoyed many career highlights since then, including headlining the Magic of the Musicals at the Royal Albert Hall for Magic Radio, and performing with Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli at a concert at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines.
