Christopher Fogt is a distinguished United States Army Major and a three-time Olympian who has made his mark in the world of bobsledding. Born in Florida, Fogt began his athletic journey as a track and field competitor, setting six school records at Utah Valley University before transitioning to bobsledding. His prowess in sprinting translated well to the bobsled track, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become a prominent athlete.
Fogt’s Olympic career is highlighted by his silver medal win at the 2014 Sochi Games as part of the renowned Team Night Train in the four-man event. He also competed in the two-man event, finishing 12th with pilot Cory Butner. Prior to Sochi, he represented the USA in the four-man event at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, showcasing his talent on the international stage.
