Cleveland rapper Chxpo rose to fame for both his incredibly prolific work ethic and his proneness for instigating conflict with other rappers. The ‘4AM in LA’, ‘Wicked’ and ‘BVNDGXD’ artist co-founded the Black Money Boys collective with SpaceGhost Purrp back in 2016, gathering together the hottest producers and rappers including Taco El, Baby Gucci, Evil Haze, Loko Los and many more, creating a signature sound of threating, raw trap beats. Also a member of Doe Boy’s Rubberband Money Gang, the rapper has released over 20 mixtapes and was notably prolific between 2016 and 2017 dropping numerous tracks including the controversial and aggressive diss against Playboi Carti and A$AP Yams ‘Cookin’ Yams’.

Although never one to shy away from controversy – he also instigated an antagonistic war on Twitter with Talib Kweli – Chxpo’s music and seemingly endless output has been packed full of multiple highlights. In 2017 he dropped the inspired mixtape Born Bloody along with the excellent Emo Savage which featured guest turns from Slug Christ and Lil Peep in one of his last recordings. The controversial rapper continues to push himself to the next level and has consistently produced new music at an impressively prolific rate in the new decade, dropping hot new tracks including ‘You Deserve Better’, ‘Reincarnated as a Slime’ and ‘Baby Joker’ in 2022 as well as two albums, Die Now Cry Later and Bowsers Castle.
