Cosmo Alexandre

Mixed martial artist Cosmo Alexandre is also trained in Muay Thai, kickboxing and boxing, and is currently signed to the ONE Championship.

Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Alexandre was a talented sportsman from a young age. He played football and played at a professional level, but aged 19 decided to pursue Muay Thai instead. In 2007 he was named WMC Middleweight Intercontinental Champion as well as WPMF Middleweight World Champion, also winning the Evolution 17 King’s Cup Qualifying tournament two years later. In 2011 Alexandre launched his professional mixed martial arts career with a signing to Bellator Fighting Championships. During his first year with the promotion he amassed an impressive five win streak, becoming well known among fans and gaining a reputation for being a consistent and skillful fighter. In 2015 he signed with the World Series of Fighting, before moving to the ONE Championship in 2018 where he has stayed ever since. One of his best known fights for the promotion was the ONE Championship: Enter the Dragon bout in 2019, which also marked Alexandre’s triumphant return to the sport after a three year hiatus. He knocked out his opponent just 29 seconds into the first round of the fight, claiming a well deserved victory.

Alexandre continues to work with the ONE Championship, having recently signed a new contract with the promotion. His fan base is growing every day, and he now has nearly 83k followers on his Instagram page.
