Cristo Reyes is a former Spanish darts player who made notable contributions in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. In the 2016 UK Open, he faced a tough opponent in Andrew Davidson, ultimately losing 6–4 in the second round. That same year, Reyes achieved a significant milestone by reaching the quarter-finals of a Pro Tour event for the first time at the fifth Players Championship, where he narrowly lost 6–5 to Robbie Green. His performance included a remarkable 6–2 victory over Mensur Suljović, which propelled him to the semi-finals of the 11th event, where he fell 6–4 to Joe Cullen—missing out on qualifying for the World Matchplay.
Reyes continued to build on his success by reaching two additional quarter-finals, which helped him qualify for the World Grand Prix for the first time. In a closely contested first-round match, he faced Kyle Anderson, but lost in a deciding leg. He also performed well at the European Championship, securing a 6–4 victory over Robert Thornton, before being eliminated in the second round by Peter Wright with a score of 10–7. He wrapped up 2016 with a narrow 6–5 defeat to Berry van Peer in the opening round of the Players Championship Finals.
In the 2017 World Championship, Reyes showcased his skill with a checkout percentage of 60, edging past Dimitri Van den Bergh 3–2. In the second round, he met the formidable Michael van Gerwen. Reyes came close to leveling the match at 3–3 but ultimately lost 4–2, despite averaging an impressive 106.07—setting a record for the highest losing average at the World Championships for several days.
Additionally, Reyes represented Spain in the World Cup, partnering with Toni Alcinas. However, they were unable to advance, suffering a 4–0 defeat in the deciding doubles match against Singapore’s Paul Lim and Harith Lim. Reyes also won the PDC World Iberian Qualifying in 2014, marking significant achievements in his darts career before stepping back from the professional scene.
