Dave Mastiff

Dave Mastiff is an English professional wrestler known for his substantial work on the independent circuit and his four-year tenure with WWE’s NXT UK brand. After commencing his professional wrestling career in 2002 under the monikers Moralez and Dave Moralez, Dave Mastiff quickly established himself as a prominent figure across the British independent circuit. He demonstrated his powerhouse wrestling style through engagements with promotions including One Pro Wrestling, Frontier Wrestling Alliance, and Westside Xtreme Wrestling, earning him nicknames such as ‘The Bomber’ and ‘Human Hate Machine.’ Mastiff secured his first major championship by winning the PWE Heavyweight Championship in 2013. He followed this in 2015 by capturing the PCW Heavyweight Championship, holding the title for an impressive 210 days and successfully defending it against renowned competitors including Adam Cole, Nick Aldis, Samoa Joe, Bobby Lashley, and Roderick Strong.

Continuing his high-profile run with NXT UK, Mastiff participated in a pivotal Fatal Four-Way match for the #1 contender spot for the WWE United Kingdom Championship. He also featured prominently in a grueling Last Man Standing match against Joe Coffey at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff, further cementing his reputation for intensity and resilience. Mastiff remained a key part of the NXT UK roster, showcasing his unique style and contributing to the brand’s growth, until his tenure concluded with his release in August 2022.
