Best known for his role in The Wire which he starred in for six years, Delaney Williams is a seasoned television actor with many credits to his name.
Williams has been appearing on stage and on screen for many years, starring in numerous stage productions of classic plays including the Grapes of Wrath, The Tempest, The Pitchfork Disney, As You Like It and A View From The Bridge. He became known as an engaging and versatile actor, going on to land roles across television and in films, including You Don’t Know Jack, The Replacements, Pecker and Beneath the Harvest Sky. His best known role was that of Jay Landsman in smash hit crime thriller The Wire, a role he played for six years during the height of the programme’s popularity.
