Diane Kruger

Model and actress Diane Kruger has starred in major motion pictures such as Troy, Ingluorious Basterds, Unknown and television show The Bridge.

Kruger’s career in the spotlight started when she represented Germany at the 1993 Elite Model Look event and attracted the attention of numerous fashion brands and labels as a result. Over the next few years she modelled for Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior and Burberry, appearing in major publications around the world such as Vogue Paris, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan. In 2002 she was cast in her first film, the Piano Player, as well as Mon Idole, establishing herself as one to watch and quickly becoming recognised as a promising actress. Over the next few years Kruger made several more appearances, most notably in National Treasure, Joyeux Noel and epic war film Troy which was one of the most successful films of 2004. Her career continued to go from strength to strength as she was invited to host the 2007 Cannes Film Festival, and in 2009 was cast in Quentin Tarantino’s Ingluorious Basterds for which she was nominated for two Screen Actor’s Guild Awards.

More recently, Kruger has branched out into television roles such as in The Bridge, and made her German language debut in 2017 film In the Fade for which she was nominated for several awards. This multi-talented model and performer regularly appears in global fashion campaigns and continues to shoot for TV and film.
