Board certified dermatologist and radio host Dr. Doris Day, M.D. has researched, spoken and written extensively in the area of cosmetic dermatology. A sought-after freelance writer for scientific and medical publications, she hosts her own award-winning live radio show for Doctor Radio on SiriusXM, and has written several books including Forget the Facelift: Turn Back the Clock and Beyond Beautiful: Using the Power of Your Mind. Day has appeared as a guest on Good Morning America, Ten Years Younger, the PBS network and the Today Show, and has also featured in several documentaries on the Discovery Channel on cosmetic procedures. She was profiled as one of the nation’s top dermatologists by The Oprah Magazine, writes a monthly column for Health magazine and has been regularly quoted in the likes of Vogue, In Style, W and Glamour magazines.
Day achieved her medical degree at New York’s Downstate Medical School after graduating from Columbia University, and went on to complete a master’s degree in journalism at New York University. She completed her residency in dermatology at Cornell University College of Medicine and has won numerous awards for dedication and excellence in teaching dermatology at New York University Langone Medical Centers where she is a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology. Day regularly consults for many of the world’s leading cosmetic and skincare brands, including L’Oreal, Galderma, Allergen, P&G and Merz.
