Dr. Jacqueline Walters is a philanthropist, health expert, women’s advocate, and award-winning OBGYN on a mission to make a difference in millions of people’s lives. The motto of this Board-certified OBGYN is “work hard, play hard.” She earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine after graduating from the University of Mississippi and Alcorn State University and completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and Mercer University. Walters has transformed her pain as a two-time breast cancer survivor into a passion for caring for the emotional and physical needs of women and men diagnosed with breast cancer. She is the founder of the 50 Shades of Pink Foundation, which was launched in 2013 with the goal of treating survivors’ inner and outer beauty.
Walters is put in motion at all times by her upbeat and vivacious attitude about life, combined with her commitment to job and family. As an ambassador for ME Period, a movement that inspires women to find the greatness in themselves, she is also using her platform to promote self-love and empowerment.
Walters has been on HLN, the “STEVE” talk programme, Essence, Glamour, People.com, and other publications. With the release of her sexual wellness book, The Queen V, in late 2019, she added author to her resume. Walters travels the country speaking about women’s health, wellbeing, and self-esteem, and she and her husband Curtis live in Atlanta.
