Dermatologist consultant to Vichy Laboratoires, Dr. Ranella Hirsch is a world-renowned expert in the fields of laser and cosmetic dermatology. The board certified dermatologist is currently involved in a number of different clinical studies of innovative skin care and laser technologies and has written numerous abstracts, scientific articles and textbook chapters, and is the author of the critically acclaimed book Aesthetic Rejuvenation: A Regional Approach which covers the most recent anti-aging technologies.

A principle investigator for several leading laser companies, she writes the column “Laser Technology” in the Cosmetic Dermatology journal and co-writes the column “Cosmetic Clinical Pearls” in Skin and Aging journal with Dr. Joel Cohen. She has also served on the editorial boards for the likes of Aesthetic Trends and Technologies, Cosmetic Dermatology, Dermatology Times, and many more.

Hirsch studied for her medical degree at New York School of Medicine before attending Yale University School of Medicine to complete an internship in internal medicine. The leading dermatologist then chose to specialise in cosmetic dermatology and advanced laser technologies at the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School.
