Inspirational Dylan Werner is a world-renowned yoga instructor and a former wrestler and U.S. Marine Corps firefighter. Werner worked as a paramedic and firefighter in California for eight years before discovering yoga through practising martial arts. He has now dedicated his life to teaching yoga, inspiring millions online through social media and teaching at some of the most prestigious yoga studios in the world. Werner has now attended over 400 workshops in more than 60 countries around the globe.
Born in Southern California, U.S, Werner grew up with a love of extreme sports, nature and fitness. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps at 18 years old serving as an aircraft firefighter, and was also part of the All-Marine wrestling team. After returning to California he studied emergency medicine and anatomy at university before spending eight years serving as a paramedic and firefighter. He first discovered yoga as part of martial arts training in 2001, but it wasn’t until 8 years later that he began to practise yoga on a daily basis.
His love for yoga quickly grew and he began to teach the discipline in 2011, giving up his home in California in 2015 so he could travel the world teaching workshops at events, retreats and festivals. Werner’s Yoga Strength classes have amassed over 220k views on YouTube and he now has over 724k followers on Instagram.
