Emma Elizabeth Wylie Samuelson is professionally known as Emma Samms and is an accomplished British actress and TV star. She has become most associated with her role as Holly Sutton in the American soap opera General Hospital, as well as for taking the role of Fallon Carrington Colby, replacing Pamela Sue Martin, on world famous soap Dynasty. Born in London to a family always involved in film, Emma trained at the Royal Ballet School as a dancer but injury forced to her to give it up. After the accident, she took up acting and never looked back.
Emma first started on General Hospital on ABC in the States in 1982 and remained there until 1985. She left for Dynasty and then went on to be in the spin off The Colbys as well as also making guest appearances in many other shows such as My Two Dads and Holy City on the BBC in 2004. Emma has given over lots of her time to help terminally ill children and for those great services she was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2016 Birthday Honours. Married three times and with two children, Emma has also co-founded a charity to help ill children and their family cope with the difficulties that surround such circumstances. The organisation was founded after Emma lost her brother aged nine. As such she is a role model, great ambassador and fantastic guest speaker, as well as being a leading actress who takes wonderfully to any and all roles.
