Former international Soccerer Frank le Boeuf was a key part of his national French side and after retiring from the sport went on to be just as successful as an actor and businessman. Playing most of the time as a rock solid central defender, Frank played 50 times for France and in those matches scored four goals. He also played in the final of the 1998 World Cup, a win against Brazil, and turned in a great performance man marking the famous Ronaldo. It was a near perfect performance from the Frenchman and he went on to win the European Championship in 2000 with France, as well as to compete in the 2002 World Cup.
After leaving the game behind, Frank moved to LA for two years and played for an amateur Hollywood side with the likes of Vinnie Jones and Steve Jones. However, he was really there to pursue his childhood love of acting and studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute in West Hollywood. He maintained an under the radar profile and got his first role acting as a television commentator. It earned him a $100 cheque and since then he has been in various French plays including acting next to Jean-Francois Garreaud in L’intrus in 2010. He also took the role of a French Resistance fighter in a World War II movie called Allies, and starred as a doctor in the Stephen Hawking biopic The Theory of Everything. Now a commentator and analyst for TV in the United States, he is a much loved figure available for a range of sporting or acting opportunities.
