Jaime Mateu

Jaime Mateu is a professional skateboarder from Spain, best known for his impressive victory at the 2017 Red Bull Rippers competition. He is currently ranked at 119 in the world, but at only the age of twenty five, he has plenty more tricks up his sleeve for the rest of his career.

Mateu has competed in over fifty competitions in the span of his career, which began back in 2015. In 2016, he earned his place in the top three for the first time when he placed second at the Sosh Freestyle Cup Pro Finals. He also placed third at the Mystic Sk8 Cup Bowl the same year. From there, Mateu took on bigger competitions, going up against some of the world’s best competitors.

Mateu has won several competitions too, including earning first place at the Mjosskate Senior Park contest and Senior Bowl in 2019. He also won the Red Bull Rippers Pro in the same year, making it one of the best years of his career.

Mateu’s success on his board has earned him plenty of brand collaborations. He is affiliated with Embassy Skateboards and Biocosmetics Madrid, who sell CBD products. He has also earned impressive sponsors such as Dickies and Hoax Confusion.

Mateu’s career has also made him popular on social media. He has over eighty thousand Instagram followers who keep up with his antics on the platform. He often posts videos of him action, as well as promoting his affiliated brands in sponsored posts.
