Her career began at a young age when she entered the Lead Climbing World Cup at just 15 years old. Over the years, she has established herself as a formidable competitor, winning the Lead Climbing World Cup three times (2010, 2013, 2014) and securing the Lead Climbing World Championship title in 2014. In addition to her World Cup successes, Jain Kim has dominated the Asian Championships, winning an impressive 14 titles in 15 years.
