Janet Krupin is an American actress, singer, writer, and producer, perhaps best known for her performances on Broadway. In the legendary New York theatre district, Krupin originated the role of Kylar in Bring It On the Musical, while she also played a central role in the musical If/Then, also on Broadway.
But there are many strings to the barrel of Krupin, as she is also a highly talented musician. Krupin released her debut EP, Aurora EP, as part of the musical duo Trillium, and performed regularly as part of The Jackson Massive.
Krupin graduated from Kennewick High School in 2006, and from the University of Southern California with a Major in Cinematic Arts—Critical Studies. She began performing in community theatres it from a young age, and a glittering career in the performing arts appeared inevitable.
Since Bring It On the Musical broke into Broadway, Krupin has enjoyed a particularly varied and successful career in performing. And that performance was also notable for featuring a record-breaking 30 performers making their Broadway debuts.
But Krupin certainly hasn’t neglected her musical career either, and her powerful singing voice and appreciation for various musical styles resulted in the release of her debut EP, Aurora, in 2014. Krupin has gone on to record tracks with a variety of artists, and has demonstrated proficiency in a diverse range of musical styles.
