Jeff DeChesare

Skateboarding legend Jeff DeChesare, also known as Jeffwon Song, is renowned for his unique style and for creating entirely original tricks.

Originally from New Jersey, DeChesare learned to skate with his cousins and kids in his local area. He would practise wherever he could, including factory warehouses and loading docks near his house. He started a YouTube channel, posting videos everyday which showed him learning new tricks and progressing, and slowly started gaining attention from more and more followers and fans. Now, he has more than 100k followers on his Instagram page where he regularly posts videos of his latest tricks, incredible footage from training and competitions and sneak peeks of projects he is working on. DeChesare has worked with and been sponsored by some of the biggest names in the world of skateboarding, including Vow, Nike, Plan B, Grizzly Griptape, Red Bull and High School Dropout Skateboards. He is widely regarded as one of the most promising upcoming talents on the scene, constantly innovating to bring viewers tricks they haven’t seen before. His warm and genuine personality means he is a firm favourite with fans and other skaters, and now serves as an inspiration to others.

DeChesare continues to work with sponsors and show off his skills at skateparks across New Jersey, California and further afield. He is one to watch, and is already one of the defining members of a new generation of athletes.
