Jefferson Lewis III is an acclaimed stunt performer best known for his roles in many of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s hit action films. These include Black Panther, Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War. For all three of these films he was nominated, along with the other stunt performers, by the Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture, and won the award on two occasions.
Beside these hit Marvel movies, Lewis’s other stunt credits include multiple episodes in the sci-fi television series Black Lightning, the historical action film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, and crime drama television series Deputy. As well as performing highly skilled stunts, he is also trained in martial arts and regularly practices and teaches kung fu.
With a degree in Digital Film and Video Production, Lewis also has a range of experience as a film producer, director, editor and videographer, and in 2017 he directed short sport film Power Youth Fitness. A man of many talents, he played the character of Pete in the 2018 thriller Valerie and had an acting role in Avengers: Infinity War in addition to his stunt work. He also appeared as himself in the documentary Tricking: The Freedom of Movement and television series TRICKSTAR: The Ultimate Tricker. Lewis has a large social media following with tens of thousands of followers on both Instagram and TikTok, where he posts short humorous videos and stunt or martial art tutorials.
