American actor Jeremy Luke is best known for performances in Jersey Shore Shark Attack, Mob City and Don Jon. He has also appeared in Martin Scorsese’s 2019 epic, The Irishman, acting opposite Robert De Niro.
Born in Staten Island, New York, Luke graduated from the College of Staten Island before working as a nightclub promoter. He began acting for fun, before deciding to go full-time and move to Hollywood. After honing his talents on stage in the theatre and the comedy club, Luke began to land minor guest roles in television series such as NYPD Blue, ER, Las Vegas, Desperate Housewives and Judging Amy. His first major role came when he landed a part in the Syfy television film Jersey Shore Shark Attack, parodying the popular reality television series of the same name.
Since then, Luke has appeared in a long list of productions, including Jersey Boys, Blue Bloods, Lethal Weapon, This Is Us, and Mob City, in which he played the character of Mickey Cohen. Luke has also made a successful transition into films, making his feature film debut in the major motion picture Don Jon, acting alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Scarlett Johanssen. Since then, he’s appeared in Sully, alongside Tom Hanks, and Martin Scorsese’s gangster flick The Irishman.
