Jhánneu Roberts is an emerging American digital creator whose content focuses on sustainability, productivity, wellness, eco-living, personal finance, and travel. Based in Los Angeles, CA, and Austin, TX, she has built an audience of more than 50,000 fans, followers, and subscribers across social media and also has many subscribers to her regular newsletter. Among the most popular videos on her popular YouTube channel are easy-to-follow tips and tricks on curly haircare and reducing kitchen waste as well as educational videos on the life-cycle of plastic items.

Growing up on Chicago’s south side, Roberts always knew she wanted to make a difference to communities like hers, but like so many people in the same position, she didn’t know how. The answer came when she began learning the truth behind recycling — i.e. much of what we are told is being recycled actually isn’t. Equally outraged and inspired, she began to live more intentionally, becoming more conscious of what she was buying and the waste she was producing.

Soon, Roberts realised that she wanted to share all the things that she was learning, and so, drawing on her background in theatre, she launched her blog and opened accounts on all the major social media platforms, finding particular success on Instagram and YouTube. Her audience is growing all the time, as she continues to be an accessible and inclusive voice for intentional, Zero Waste living.
