Johanna Bergqvist is a professional sailor from Sweden, recognized for her achievements in match racing. She helms Team Bergqvist Match Racing, a team that began sailing together in Gothenburg, Sweden. Under her leadership, the team has competed in various international events including the WIM Series, Open Regattas, and Youth Regattas. Her team is currently ranked 4th in the Women’s World Match Racing Rankings and 39th in the Open Rankings, demonstrating their consistent performance at a high level.

Bergqvist’s career progression extends beyond competitive sailing. With a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management and Production from Chalmers University of Technology, she has applied her organizational and leadership skills in project management roles. She has worked as a Project Manager and Organization Developer for Svenska Seglarförbundet (Swedish Sailing Federation) from 2021 to 2022, and as an Assisting Website Developer for the same organization in 2022.
