The driven and analytical designer John Targon is a chief creative officer, entrepreneur, and consultant, who specialises in brand development. His areas of expertise include product design, creative direction, strategy, and communications, and he is an expert in developing and executing brand look, feel and tone to drive revenue and loyalty.
In 2001 California-based Targon attended New York’s Parsons School of Design – The New School to study Fashion/Apparel Design. After graduating in 2005 he began working for Prada. Then, following stints at Staff International, Conde Nast, CELINE, Burberry, and Marc Jacobs, in 2013 he co-founded the globally inspired brand BAJA EAST. In 2018 he founded Fall Risk, a direct to consumer luxury knitwear brand. In 2020 he became the Chief Creative Officer at Big Fucking Deal Media, developing, designing, direct designing, and strategising for companies of all sizes, including Diet Coke, HP, A’maree’s, and McKenna Cars.
