The dedicated young sportsman Jonathan Milan is a professional track and road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental Team Bahrain Victorious. He is an Olympic Champion, setting a new world record in Team pursuit at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics, as well as a World Champion in Team pursuit, and a European Champion at Individual pursuit.
Born and raised in Italy, Milan started cycling at a young age and began competing at an amateur level. He claimed a number of podium wins, including the Circuito di Orsago Juniors in 2018, and then turned professional in 2019 at the age of 19 when he joined Cycling Team Friuli. He came first in the National U-23 Championships Time trial, and claimed Silver in the Team pursuit. He has since gone on to represent his native Italy on the international stage in a number of events, and in 2021 he claimed three Golds, one at the 2021 European Championships in Individual pursuit, and two Golds in Team pursuit, at the 2021 World Championships, and at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He joined Team Bahrain Victorious in 2021.
