Justin Bonomo

Born on September 30, 1985, in Fairfax, Virginia, Justin Bonomo, known online as ‘ZeeJustin,’ began his competitive journey in Magic: The Gathering before transitioning to professional poker. His early career saw him establish a bankroll through low-stakes limit cash games, which led him to leave the University of Maryland to pursue poker full-time. In February 2005, at just 19 years old, Bonomo made history as the youngest player to appear at a televised final table during the inaugural European Poker Tour (EPT) event at the French Open in Deauville, France, where he secured a fourth-place finish. This milestone marked the beginning of a distinguished career that would see him become one of the most successful figures in professional poker.

Bonomo’s career is characterized by consistent high-level performance and numerous significant victories across various prestigious tournaments. He secured his first World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet in 2014 in Event #11: No-Limit Hold’em Six Handed, earning $449,980. His dominance continued into 2018, a pivotal year where he won an additional two WSOP bracelets, including Event #16, the $10,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em Championship for $185,965. The same year, he won Event #78, the $1,000,000 One Drop for an impressive $10,000,000. These wins briefly positioned Bonomo as the number one player on the all-time live tournament money list.

His achievements extend beyond the WSOP, encompassing major titles in Super High Roller events. In May 2018, he won the $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl for $5,000,000, and also secured victories in the Super High Roller Bowl China for $4.8 million. Bonomo has been a regular participant and winner on circuits such as the Triton High Roller Series, PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, and ARIA High Roller Events. As of August 2025, his total live tournament winnings exceed US$65.6 million, placing him among the top all-time money earners in tournament poker.
