Canada Justin Gerhard is an artist and composer living in NYC, recognized for his musical theatre performances and roles in various screen productions.
Justin Gerhard is an established Canadian Youtuber, Actor, Activist, Entrepreneur and Host of The Gay Men Channel (@gaymenchannel). He also serves as a co-creator for the channel.
Justin Gerhard graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Piano and Voice from Canadian Mennonite University. He then pursued further studies in Musical Theatre at the New York Film Academy in NYC. Following his education, he relocated to Canada where he continued to build his career as an actor and model. He also became a co-creator of The Gay Men Channel, contributing to its content and reach.
Gerhard has performed in numerous stage productions, demonstrating his versatility in musical theatre. His credits include roles in productions such as ‘Hairspray,’ ‘Legally Blonde: the Musical,’ ‘The Secret Garden,’ ‘Seussical the Musical,’ ‘Anything Goes,’ and ‘West Side Story.’ His work on screen includes appearances in ‘Almost Adults,’ available on Amazon Prime, and ‘Nobody Famous,’ which can be streamed on Tubi. More recently, he featured in ‘Birder,’ which is accessible on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.
As a composer and pianist, Justin Gerhard released his debut neoclassical piano solo album, ‘_the feeling of falling_,’ in June 2024. This was followed by his subsequent release, ‘_5D…a love letter_,’ on February 14, 2025. Both albums are available on various music streaming platforms. He actively engages with his audience and shares updates on his journey through Instagram and Substack.
