Award-winning Australian brick artist and toy photographer Kale Frost rose to fame on reality show LEGO Masters Australia. World-famous in the LEGO Community, his online store and website Frostbricks is a LEGO-recognised fan site and his personal collection is estimated to be around one million bricks. Frost has received an array of awards and accolades for his LEGO builds and his photography work, and he has featured in Blocks Magazine and Brothers Brick.
Based in Melbourne, Frost began his career as a graphic designer, but his son’s premature birth sparked his interest in building after he turned to LEGO to help deal with the stress whilst his baby son was in hospital. He also realised building and photographing his LEGO creations helped develop his skills with a camera and founded Frostbricks.
The company is now available to build personal projects of any size, and also provide unique photography projects for charities, events and businesses.
In 2019 Frost appeared on LEGO Masters Australia, the sister-show of the British TV show where amateur LEGO builders test their construction skills and creativity to build the best project. Frost admitted he was a “wildcard who’s a little crazy “ and made an impact with fans of the show. Since then he’s continued to win awards at LEGO shows around Australia as Frostbricks goes from strength to strength. Frost has also expressed a desire to compete in LEGO Masters Juniors with his son.
