Glamorous Kandy “The Icon” Muse is one of the most popular drag queens to sashay onto hit reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race. Boasting celebrity fans including Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande, the drag superstar – who is famous for being part of the House of Aja – made a splash in Season 13 of Drag Race where she finished as runner-up. She has also featured in RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13: Untucked and starred as herself in RuPaul’s Drag Race: Corona Can’t Keep a Good Queen Down. Kandy is now instantly recognisable around the globe after going viral for starting the Sitting Alone in the VIP meme.

Kandy Muse lives in New York and was born to parents of Dominican descent. Raised as a Mormon growing up, the stunning star’s original drag name was Cherry Blossom, given to her by singing sensation Lana Del Rey. Kandy auditioned four times for Drag Race before finally being cast on Season 13, where she finished in second place and won the hearts of millions of fans.

Like many Drag Race alumni Kandy is a triple threat entertainer who has already made her mark on the music scene. After featuring on Eureka O’Hara’s track ‘Body Postitivy’ in 2017 she appeared in Velo’s ‘Big Dick Daddy’ music video. She also appeared on Alaska Thunderfuck’s ‘Sitting Alone in the VIP’ and the accompanying music video after serving as inspiration for the song.
After winning the hearts of admirers around the world, the future looks bright for Kandy as her career continues on an unstoppable rise.
