Kevin Romar

Kevin Romar is a popular and talented skateboarder best known for his array of gravity defying tricks and stunts that have been posted to YouTube in several jaw-dropping video clips, with a signature move of the nollie backside 360, which he has completed down some of the globe’s most imposing stair sets. His most well-known trick was featured in The Berry Video- Atmosphere, which was first uploaded in 2007 and he hasn’t looked back since.

Romar is a grassroots skater, and as an amateur eleven year old he practiced in his mums garage before gaining his first sponsor just two years later. From there, his career has gone from strength to strength, and he has since worked extensively with Chocolate Skateboards before switching to Blind Skateboards in 2009 and becoming pro for them in 2012 with four new graphics given to him at his Pro party- he still rides professionally for them currently. He was also featured in Blind’s This Is Not A Test in 2011, a Blind Am video. He also appears in a lot of interviews about skateboarding, and has featured in pieces with TheNineClub, The No Comply Network, Jenken Mag, Creative Ambience, The OneOnOne Podcast, Wheel-House, and many more. He’s also connected with a multitude of brands, such as Shake Junt, Venture, Bones, Footprint Insoles, Rastaclat and New Balance to name a few.

When not working on his board, Romar can be found on his social media- he currently boasts an audience of over 411,000 followers across his various social media platforms. He was also the official tour DJ for musician Hopsin, to great acclaim.
