Kévin Tillie is a French professional volleyball player who has been a regular fixture within the French men’s national team over the last decade. He won a gold medal with his nation at the 2020 Olympic Games held in Tokyo, and also secured wins in both the 2015 European Championship and 2015 FIVB World League. He currently plays in the outside hitter position for professional Polish club Projekt Warsaw, who play in the PlusLiga, the highest volleyball league in the country.
After showing lots of early promise in his teens, Tillie debuted for the senior French national team during the 2012 FIVB Volleyball World League. In 2015 he moved to prestigious Polish club ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, with whom he won the Polish Championship in 2015 and 2016, and the Polish Cup in 2016. Since then, he has continued to hone his skills and make his mark at various clubs in China, Italy and France.
Tillie has made a tremendous impact on the sport of volleyball, something that was recognised by his home nation upon awarding him with a Knight of the Legion of Honour, the highest French order of merit. He prides himself upon playing with panache and effortless confidence and brings a great deal of wisdom to the volleyball court.
