Kitty Tray is the stage name of Ash Cross, a fabulously entertaining drag artist, performer, promotor, DeeJay, host, and actor. A natural performer known for his bubbly personality and tongue-in-cheek humour, he is also an advocate for diversity and supports the local LGBTQ+ community.
Nottingham resident Cross never performed drag while he was teaching at Central College Nottingham, but after watching all of the first five seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race talent show, he fell in love with the art, quit his job, and pursued a career as Kitty Tray, drag queen extraordinaire. She built up a reputation on the circuit and ended up performing regularly at shows across the UK. Since then she has entertained audiences across the globe and has appeared on a number of TV shows, including Judge Georgie, Judge Rinder, Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, and Britain’s Got Talent.
Kitty Tray regularly connects with her legions of followers and fans through Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, posting pictures and videos about her glamorous life. She is also available for that personalised shout-out via the Cameo platform, and has an official website, kittytray.com.
