Lana

Lana Holmes, better known by her social media handles Lana LeStrange and HelloImLana, is a YouTube and social media star, with over 3 million Twitter and Instagram followers, fan accounts in her honour, and over half a million subscribers to her Lana LeStrange YouTube channel. She became famous for her makeup and fashion videos, including tutorials, unboxings, and lookbooks. Her recent content has focused on her love of the Harry Potter franchise, with videos showing how to dress like members of the cast, reactions to bizarre fan theories, gift ideas, and more.

Holmes was born in Los Angeles to Brazilian parents. She grew up in both Brazil and California and is fluent in Portuguese. She joined Twitter in 2009, but it was when she began her YouTube channel in early 2014 that she started to build her public profile. Since then, her videos have amassed millions of views. She has collaborated and guested with other big YouTube names, most notably Spanish vlogger Luzu—the couple are now married and recently celebrated the birth of their first child. Her relationship with Luzu saw the pair set up a joint channel, LuzuyLana, and saw Lana set up a Spanish-language channel, Lanita, to run alongside her English-language one. In 2015, the pair published their first book, Cosas que le diría a mi yo pequeño, holding launch events in Barcelona, Bilbao, and Madrid, proving their international popularity.

Holmes has made several appearances at Club Media Fest, an event held in various South American countries celebrating the brightest young social media talent.
