Scottish actress Lauren Lyle is known for her role in television drama series Outlander and Broken, and film Tell It To The Bees.
Lyle landed her first professional role in a short film, WhosApp, in 2013, going on to star in another the following year, Office Ugestu. He career really took off when she was accepted onto the National Youth Theatre’s rep program, becoming one of just a handful of young actors to be awarded a place on the scheme. The program allowed her to get her first experiences of working on the stage, starring in several West End productions and launching her career. Some of the stage shows she appeared in included The Merchant of Venice, Wuthering Heights, and Consensual. Parts in television shows quickly followed in shows like Holby City, award winning drama Broken and time travel series Outlander. In 2018 she appeared in two films, the first with Anna Paquin and Holliday Grainger called Tell It To The Bees and the second a short film titled Girls Who Drink.
Alongside acting, Lyle has also appeared in a documentary called Stage Direction, and is the host of her own podcast She’s a Rec’ in which she interviews guests about the culture that has influenced their lives.
This young actress has already established herself as an up and coming talent on the scene, and looks set for many more years of success in the spotlight.
