Lili Taylor is a well known actress, best known for her roles in The Conjuring and American Crime. She has also long been an activist with a focus on environemental issues. She uses her spare time to campaign for bird conservation.
Taylor began her career in 1986 when she found a small role as a waitress in Crime Story. Her first big role came only a few years later when she landed a starring role in the chick-flick, Mystic Pizza, and from there, the only way was up for Taylor. She is also well known for her role in I Shot Andy Warhol, starring as the infamous Valerie Solanas who killed the famous artist. She also had a large role in the hit show, Almost Human, and Netflix’s Hemlock Grove.
Taylor continued to make a name for herself, appearing in some huge blockbuster films such as Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials and To The Bone alongside Lily Collins. She also followed up her role in The Conjuring with her reprise of Carolyn Perron in The Nun. She has appeared in a number of Netflix films and has found herself cast in many horror films over the years, finding her niche in acting. Her acting credits haven’t gone unnoticed, either. She has now won a total of twenty-three awards, including a Golden Globe and countless other nominations.
In addition to her thriving acting career, Taylor is passionate about animal conservation. She has been on the board of the Audubon and American Birding Association for many years and takes her role very seriously.
