Lizard King is a professional skateboarder who is internationally renowned for his skateboarding. His real name is Mike Plumb and he is best known as one of skateboarding’s most iconic names and got his big break on Deathwish in 2004 when he moved from Salt Lake City to California. His name, Lizard King, rose to prominence when he began being featured in videos and collaborations such as ‘Baker Has a Deathwish’ and many more.

He has worked with many sponsors and brands and is currently sponsored by Supra. He says that working with Supra is “epic” and is enjoying being part of the team, saying that Supra is “more like a lifestyle than a brand”.

He is passionate about skating and believes that skating is bigger than it’s ever been before, and more relevant to young people than ever before. He thinks that skateboarding has a lot of individualism, and promotes people being their own version of themselves.

Lizard King has a huge influence on social media, with 283k followers on his Instagram account @bigbizliz. He has been synonymous with the brand Deathwish since its inception in 2008, and in 2020 decided to mark the end of an era and leave Deathwish, looking back fondly on his time with them, saying “thank you Ellington, Greco, and Reynolds, for all your support over the years. I love you guys so much!!!”.

He is renowned for his full length video quotes that have become iconic on the skating scene, such as “right here, for Satan” and “text yo’self”. He is famous on YouTube for his many videos, such as The Berrics video ‘Lizard King Does 25 Tricks Over 25 Shoes’ that was released in 2019 and has over 97k views.
