Lyn Harris

Known for her innovative approach to fragrance creation, British perfumer Lyn Harris is the mastermind behind fragrance lines Perfumer H and Miller Harris. The independent perfumer has become an influential figure in the world of fragrance thanks to her unique ability to craft the most exquisite scents, and she has worked with numerous brands throughout her career including Fresh, Vyrao, Solange Azagury-Partridge, Maison Trudon, Claus Porto, and LEGENDÄR. Some of her most popular perfumes include Miller Harris Noix de Tubéreuse and Miller Harris Feuilles de Tabac.

Harris grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of the British countryside in Scotland and Yorkshire, and the landscapes and scents of her homeland shaped how she created scents later her in career by evoking sensory experiences and using ingredients found in nature. Harris was passionate about fragrance and moved to Paris where she was trained by renowned perfumer Monique Schlienger before honing her skills further with prestigious Grasse fragrance house Robertet. Once she had gained the knowledge and expertise needed to establish her own perfume brand, she founded Miller Harris with her partner Christophe Michel. Founded in 2000, the brand soon gained recognition for its creative, unique scents. In 2015 she launched a new perfume brand that showcased her creativity even further, Perfumer H. With a deep connection to the British countryside and her emphasis on natural ingredients, Harris has created truly distinctive scents that have set her apart in the industry.
