American actor and voice actor Malcolm Danare is world famous for portraying Caesar in Heaven Help us and Dr Mendel Craven in Godzilla. He is also well known as a voice actor famous for voicing Tiny in Ever After High and the character Kipling in Monster High.
Danare rose to fame almost overnight after making his debut as Poteete in The Lord Of Discipline, a role that earned him a Best Newcomer Golden Globe nomination despite never appearing in front of a film camera before. He soon appeared in a second film for Paramount – the legendary dance movie Flashdance. After two iconic roles, he went on to star in a diverse range of movies including iconic horror movie Christine, European Vacation, Independence Day, Monster High: Escape from Skull Shores,The Martini Shot,The Curse, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Crossroads, Heaven Help Us (aka Catholic Boys) and Popcorn. He also starred in Godzilla for Columbia Pictures and appeared in the Godzilla animated television series.
From 2004 Danare spent two years in a recurring role in CSI: Miami playing Ned Ostroff. Multi-talented Danare has been constantly in demand as an actor since he began his career, but has also turned his hand to producing. His production credits include modern-day horror movie The Taker and science fiction film The Summerland Project. Danare is also the critically acclaimed author of the play In Heat.
