Olympic silver medallist and five time World Champion wrestler, Mark Madsen is a combat fighter who is also a professional mixed martial artist.
Madsen started wrestling when he was just six years old, winning numerous medals in Danish Wrestling Federation and Nordic Wrestling Association competitions in his early career. He appeared at international tournaments, being named World Champion five times and appearing at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He also competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics, this time in London, and appeared again at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro where he took home the silver medal in Greco-Roman wrestling. After winning the medal he decided to retire from wrestling so he could take up mixed martial arts professionally, competing on the regional circuit before signing with Cage Warriors in 2018. Since his debut in the sport, Madsen has become well known as a fierce competitor, having won every single one of his fights and amassing a 11 match win streak. After a year with Cage Warriors he was snapped up to join the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2019 where he has continued to put in great performances and win over fans across the world.
