Massi, or Massimilano, Furlan, began his multinational career in showbiz as a talented and unique standup comedian, after leaving the Italian Army where he served as a specialist in a helicopter crew, and moving to Hollywood in 2007. His obvious gift for performance was instantly noticed, and very quickly he began to pick up many guest appearances and recurring roles in TV shows and feature films, such as Days Of Our Lives, One Tree Hill, and The Dark Knight Rises. 2012 remained a good year for Furlan, as he was also cast as one of the leads in a Lifetime movie Layover alongside Lauren Holly. Layover later changed the title to Abducted for the DVD release. Furlan was later cast in a 20th Century Fox comedy Keeping Up With The Joneses alongside Zach Galifianakis, Gal Gadot, Isla Fisher and John Hamn.
More recently, he guest starred in the multi award winning CW TV Show Supernatural, and had a crucial role in the second installment of the Jumanji reboot, Jumanji: The Next Level. He is the only actor in the world who can claim his character has killed a character played by Dwayne Johnson, one of his co-stars in the film. Furlan’s latest project was his part in the third part of the Bad Boys franchise, starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, released in January of 2020. In a recent interview Furlan, who was once proclaimed The New Villain in Town, stated that one of his goals is to work with Sir Anthony Hopkins.
