The amazing sportsman Matt Kuchar is a professional golfer, who has won the PGA Tour nine times. He has been ranked at No.5 in the World Golf Rankings, and won his first World Golf Championship at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. He also represented the United States at the 2016 Rio Olympics, winning Bronze.
Born and raised in Florida, Kuchar started playing golf at a young age. He played collegiate golf at Georgia Tech, where he was named a 2x first-team All-American. He won the US Amateur in 1997, and received the Haskins Award in 1998 as the nation’s top collegiate golfer.
Kuchar turned professional in 2000, and claimed his first PGA Tour win in 2002 at the Honda Classic. He went on to improve his standings on the Greens of the world, and competed in the Masters Tournament in 2012, ending up tied for 3rd. He also took part in the PGA Championship, the US Open, and The Open Championship, for which in 2017 he was runner-up.
