Jason Miller, known as Mayhem Miller, is a celebrated household name in mixed martial arts, as well as being a television host. He became notorious in MMA for his dynamic fighting career, in which he fought with several iconic promotions including the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He has amassed 28 wins over the course of his career; and is regarded one of the most exciting talents in the ring.
Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Miller grew up learning martial arts extensively. He was an early prodigy in Taekwondo, wrestling and karate. Due to his unusual prowess from a young age, he was encouraged to pursue this area of sports professionally. He began training in MMA as a teenager, and had his first fight at 17. Over the course of his career, he has fought in the promotions: Strikeforce, WFA, WEC AND DREAM, beating wrestling giants such as Robbie Lawler and Denis Kang.
After retiring from the MMA in 2012, he has been building a career as a wrestling coach; establishing his own promotion Mayhem Martial Arts. He has also appeared on a variety of media channels discussing his experiences of wrestling and offering sports commentary. He was also cast as the TV host of the American reality show Bully Beatdown, in which bullies are challenged to fight against an MMA artist for a chance to win 10,000.
