Misha Rosenbach, MD, is an associate professor of internal medicine and dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine. One of America’s leading dermatologists, he also serves in several educational roles including associate program director in the core clinical faculty in the department of medicine and the dermatology residency, and as director of the inpatient consult service. A well-respected leader in his field, he has published over 100 peer reviewed articles along with many textbooks and multiple chapters in other published work. Rosenbach has also appeared across the media as an expert giving his highly valued opinions and advice.
Rosenbach focusses on complex medical dermatology at his clinical practice in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, running an urgent access clinic and sarcoidosis clinic. He regularly sees inpatients and outpatients with undiagnosed diseases, autoimmune skin conditions and hematologic malignancies and cutaneous complications. He is also engaged in pioneering research work, focussing primarily on the areas of granulomatous skin conditions and sarcoidosis.
As well as working at his prestigious clinic, Rosenbach is affiliated with many local hospitals in the area including Hospitals of the University of Pennsylvania-Penn Presbyterian and Pennsylvania Hospital. The leading dermatologist earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medicine and has now been in practice for more than two decades. During his remarkable career he has been involved with the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and held pivotal leadership roles at the Society of Dermatology Hospitalists and the Medical Dermatology Society.
