Miss Conception is a diva who is sweeping the globe. Kevin Levesque has been dazzling audiences with his persona The Queen of Poutine herself, Miss Conception, for over two decades. He refers to himself as a “Female Delusionist®” when it comes to his drag style. Miss Conception gets audiences laughing with laughter and springing to their feet with ovation from her humble beginnings in Toronto’s bar scene to sold-out audiences wherever she plays. Miss Conception has worked with Tony Award-winning actress Jennifer Holliday of Dreamgirls, as well as comic Leslie Jordan of Will and Grace and singer Lorna Luft, daughter of superstar Judy Garland. ‘Queer as Folk’ and ‘Degrassi: The Next Generation’ are among his other credits, as is being a featured extra on television shows like ‘Queer as Folk’ and ‘Degrassi: The Next Generation.’
Splash Events has partnered with Miss Conception for “Dragging Across Canada,” Canada’s first-ever drive-in drag tour, provides spectators a fantastic evening of drag, costumes, live music, comedy, and dancing under the stars in a drive-in theater near you, all from the comfort of your own automobile. Miss Conception’s one-woman live singing concerts debuted in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and Provincetown, Massachusetts, every year. They mock and celebrate some of our time’s most iconic characters, films, and television shows, with on-stage quick-change transitions from one character to the next.
When he’s not touring the world, Levesque volunteers his time to raise money for the Toronto People with AIDS Foundation’s Friends for Life Bike Rally, including his own participation in the annual fundraising bike ride from Toronto to Montréal, which raised $50,000. His own organization, The Miss Conception Resident Comfort Fund, has gathered almost $14,000 to help residents who are in need of medication and home necessities to help them get a fresh start.
